My point was not that I only object to persecution in Cuba, but that to
rubbish appeals for support by those persecuted, or as in this instance
a representative, leaves all free to ignore what is going on, and we
saw all too well the consequences of that in the last 100years. For the
record if appeals for support in any of the countries you mentioned had
come to my attention I would have felt equally inclined to register some
form of protest as I did in this instance.
