Applications are invited for the following permanent post:
Sub-Librarian Information Services
This is a senior management post in the Library. The person appointed will
have responsibility for managing an evolving range of information services
provided by the Library, together with leadership of the team of staff
delivering these services.
S/He should have substantial relevant work experience in an academic
library. A vision and enthusiasm for developing rapidly changing areas
such as information skills provision, collection development and support for
teaching, learning and research in a dynamic information environment is
essential to the success of the post.
Requirements
· A degree plus a recognised qualification in Librarianship, Information
Studies or Information Science
· Substantial experience of staff management, development and team building
· Excellent analytical and presentation skills, together with a high level
of competence in information technology

Applications are invited for the following 1 year contract appointment:
Post of Assistant Librarian Information Services: Law
The person appointed will have responsibility for the provision of
information services to the Faculty of Law, for the management of Government
publications received by the Library and for managing the European
Documentation Centre.
S/He should have relevant work experience in an academic or law library.
Experience in supporting information provision is essential and familiarity
with the range of information sources, particularly in electronic format is
essential.
Requirements
• A degree plus a recognised qualification in Librarianship, Information
Studies or Information Science.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Excellent IT skills.

Asst. Librarian 2: IR£20562-25496
Asst. Librarian 1: IR£ 24430-29275
