Hello,
This library hopes to place its catalogue online within the next 12 months,
and so we're looking for a library system suitable for a small library (c.
10,000 books and serials), principally to hold the catalogue since material
does not circulate. An electronic catalogue is in preparation, but our
present library system doesn't have a web server component.
The problem is that the two products we had in mind are incompatible with
our setup: we would like to network the software on our existing computers,
running Windows 98 over a Novell network, but we also need a package which
can work with the existing college web site using Apache for Linux as
its web server.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions of library systems which meet these
requirements; please reply to me rather than the list.
Thanks in advance,
Owen Massey
