ZETOC ALERT NOW AVAILABLE
Following the launch this September of ZETOC, which provides Z39.50-
compliant access to the British Library's Electronic Table of
Contents database, MIMAS is pleased to announce that the ZETOC
alerting service is now available.
ZETOC Alert is a Table of Contents alerting service which will email
you the contents pages of your chosen journals every time a new issue
is loaded into the database (the database is updated daily so this
can be as soon as 72 hours after publication).
Access to ZETOC Alert is controlled by ATHENS username (either access
or personal accounts) and provided via the Web interface at:
http://zetoc.mimas.ac.uk/zetoc/bin/loginpage
Instructions on how to set up a ZETOC Alert are available at:
http://zetoc.mimas.ac.uk/alertguide.html
ZETOC and ZETOC Alert are available free of charge to JISC-sponsored
UK further and higher education institutions. Research Councils,
Irish sites and other higher and further education institutions may
be able to access the service upon payment of an annual fee. Further
details are available from Alison Murphy, ZETOC Support Officer at
MIMAS (email: [log in to unmask], telephone: 0161 275 7919).
Regards,
