A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JOURNAL PUBLISHER
Friday 24 November 2000
at John Wiley & Sons Ltd
Chichester, W Sussex
Would you like to know more about
journal publishing in the electronic world?
For this one-day seminar in Chichester the UK Serials Group
has gathered together a range of speakers who will chart the
progress of a journal from editorial board to library subscriber
with the objective of improving understanding of the journal
publishing process.
Representatives from the well-known international publisher,
John Wiley & Sons Ltd, will describe, in sequence, the path
of a journal from conception to reader access. Each speaker
will add the knowledge that their own individual experiences
have provided, giving a comprehensive view of journal
publishing in the electronic age. A subscription agent will
complete the picture by describing the link between publisher
and library and there will be the opportunity for discussion
and questions.
