Does anyone have any suggestions for a basic (cheap and cheerful)
serials/monographs management package? It would need to include management of
new subscription orders, subscription renewals/cancellations, new monograph
orders, and simple financial reporting facilities. It would *not* need to
include journal circulation management, or general cataloguing capabilities.
I am aware of certain packages for small libraries using Lotus Notes or similar,
but they are mainly based around a cataloguing module which is not necessary
here. As an alternative I would consider creating an application in MS Access
or Excel. Any off-the-shelf packages being used out there?
