UNIVERSITY RESEARCH STUDENTSHIP FOR UK/EU APPLICANTS
One full-time PhD studentship in the Department of Information Science is
available from 1st October 2000. The award pays all fees plus a
maintenance allowance of 6,455 (Students aged 26 years on or before 1
September are entitled to an additional allowance of 1,430 per annum).
Candidates are free to offer their own research topic for consideration.
However, applicants with interests in any of the following areas are
particularly welcome:
- Knowledge management
- Digital libraries
- Health Informatics
- Teaching & learning in information science
- Legal and policy issues
