Can anyone out there help with a problem with the installation of the Guardian CD ROM software?
We have some new Windows 98 PCs with PS2 mice, and we find that when we try to install the Guardian on CD ROM, we get an error message as follows:
ISINST30 caused a general protection fault
Initial contact with Chadwyck Healey technical support suggested that the problem lay with the PS2 mouse, and that if we disabled the wheel function and reinstalled the software, all would be well, but sadly this was not the case.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you overcome it?
