TO FRENCH STUDIES LIBRARIANS
Dear Colleague,
We are writing to you on behalf of the French Studies Library Group
(FSLG). The Group was founded in July 1999 as a focus for librarians
and others concerned with the provision of library resources and
services in the field of French Studies. French studies is defined as
the study of French-speaking countries and their cultures and, more
broadly, of all subjects requiring the use of research and teaching
material in French.
You may be interested to know that there is a FSLG mailing list open
to anyone with a legitimate interest in the field who wishes to join.
The owner of the list is Amanda Peters (Bodleian Library). To
subscribe send an e-mail to:

containing the text:

in the body of the message.
We very much hope that you will join the Group. There is currently no
subscription involved in joining the Group as it does not yet have any
formal structure (committee, etc). Please contact one of the FSLG
members named below if you would be interested in joining FSLG or would
simply like more information.
Yours sincerely,
