I hesitate to keep this discussion running but surely WE are the
Professional Body? It is therefore up to everyone who is a member of the
LA (or any other organisation to which they belong) to participate in
its affairs and thereby attempt to influence how it is run and what it
should be doing. This isn't like buying a train ticket and expecting
Virgin (or whoever) to whisk you in comfort to your destination -
sometimes you have to get out and push ... :-)
