CILT is working with the Central Bureau to help disseminate information
about the funding opportunities under Socrates II 2000-2006 Programme,
particularly Lingua, the Action most applicable to language teaching and
learning.
A new area dedicated to Lingua has been set up on the CILT website at:
http://www.cilt.org.uk/socrates
The site contains:
- Background information on Socrates and Lingua
- Links to other relevant information on the Central Bureau and Europa
websites
- Information on the applications process and downloadable application
forms
- Examples of the sorts of projects that would be appropriate and links
to a catalogue of ex-Lingua projects funded under Lingua Action D
- Links to websites set up to facilitate partner finding, and contact
details for all National Agencies.
> The main emphases of Lingua are outlined below.
