POSITION: 18th/19th-Century German Literature, Tenure-Track, Open Rank
The Department of German and Slavic Studies announces a tenure-track
position in 18th/19th-Century German Literature, open rank, with preference
for an advanced Assistant Professor or beginning Associate Professor.
Starting date is August 2001. The position would be responsible for
developing graduate and undergraduate courses in German Aufklärung,
Klassik, and Romantik. Language instruction is also a standard part of the
course load. Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum
vitae, three letters of recommendation, and evidence of teaching
