Hi,
Why do I feel your aims (although well intended) will cause pain for some
users?

Arial type fonts as opposed to Times style (now, which is sherif and san
sherif stuff? and what is their spelling) are more likely to read easier.
You must allow for poor quality monitors, large dot size, and the
diamontron/trinitron types which may show rugged edges.

Oh, you are using sizes! :-)

Presumably for creating gifs? Otherwise it does not matter what font you
use, it is what font the client has installed. I would think if you own the
font you can use it ... even to create gifs.

And will you make sure that whatever font sizes you use can be read in a
non-windows based client (eg. Unix, Mac, OS/2), esp. when you decide size 2
is your prefered choice. A previous discussion on web-support explained to
me that windows renders fonts 33% bigger than the other OSes. I probably
should have said all other OSes render fonts 33% smaller :-))
Regards
Charles :-)
