How right you are. In the early days quite a bit was taken away, I did not I
hastily add. I know many places around the country where there are bits and
pieces, and also have been told of same. I think the only exception to the
rule is that if the area is in imminent threat (maybe a ruling by NAMHO could
be set on this), then the item must be photographed where it lies, removed
properly, and then given to a suitable museum for preservation and then
