We sent an email to DataStar, as requested, cancelling our account. We
never had a response back, but assumed all was ok. Today we received an
invoice for the account--but thanks to the correspondence on this list, I
was prepared for it. I telephoned Berne and told them we had cancelled the
account via email and was told that Dialog never forwarded the email to
them! All they asked me to do was to send a copy of the email and the
invoice back to them and that would be it. I have now sent it all off with
a cover-letter giving details of everything. I expect that I have not heard
the end of it.....but I have kept copies of everything.
