Hello All
I have also fallen foul of the non-cancellation problem when e-mailing
requests to the BL. Once when we sent the duplicate requests and again last
night when the Trust e-mail system went haywire and resent everybody's
e-mails - twice!. I got the same response from the BL as John - once the
requests are in the system unless the person doing the copying has the sense
to question duplicate requests they are processed and we are charged.
It is nice to know that BL realise this is unacceptable, can we now also
stress that 2-3 YEARS to change it is also unacceptable. Surely somewhere in
the system a step could be put in to recognise messages of exactly the same
length from the same source sent within minutes or seconds of each other.
