Issue 8 (April 2000) of the BUILDER Project Newsletter has been released.
This issue covers key areas of Project activity from February - April 2000
and includes updates on evaluation, exam papers database, cascading
technologies, electronic short loan, and work with partners.

**Your opinions are needed about the BUILDER Project Web site!**
We'd be grateful if you could fill out the short questionnaire released on
the BUILDER Web site at: http://builder.bham.ac.uk/questionnaire.asp
This aims to evaluate how visitors are using (and have used) the information
on the Web site, which sections are most useful, and how the Project has
influenced thinking and service developments. The questionnaire is available
for a focused seven-week period from 4 April.

teaching and research context, seamlessly integrating access to a wide range
of printed and electronic information sources, local and remote, using a
Web-based interface, and in a way which will be universally applicable."
BUILDER is supported as part of the Electronic Libraries Programme (eLib)
which is funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) of the
Higher Education Funding Councils.
