      Group of learned societies, universities, colleges, and

      Prophet Muhammad and the Holy Quran, and features material

      Guide to recently coined words, existing words that have
      enjoyed a recent renaissance, and older words being used in
      new ways. A specific word is presented daily, along with a
      definition, and a citation illustrating its usage.

      Offers information on grants, services, and awards offered
      to Canadian artists and arts organisations. Also provides
      the latest council news, events information, and access to
      a free quarterly newsletter.
 Multimedia from Wagner to Virtual Reality
      Gives an overview of the history and evolution of
      multimedia, highlighting its impact on art, technology, and
      culture. Intended for students, teachers, artists, and
      critics, the resource includes essays and sections on
      pioneers.
 ITF Player Database
      Details the career records of male and female players who
      have competed in a major tennis event since 1st January
      1997. Statistics available include individual win/loss
      records, and head to head results. Also offers a record of
      players' international activity in the Davis and Federation
      cups.
 Sydney 2000 Olympic Games
      Official information on the Games of the 27th Olympiad in
      Sydney, Australia. Offers profiles of competing athletes,
      countries, and sports, a guide to the Olympic facilities,
      and some historical details about the quadrennial event.
      Results will be posted when available.
 Joe DiMaggio: The Hero's Life
      Provides information about a film tracing the life of the
      famous baseball player, together with a discussion of what
      made DiMaggio such a great player. Also features a timeline

 Kiosk: Journal of Geo-Politics
      General reference resource containing a fact file for every
      country of the world, with additional information available
      under the headings news and current events, history and
      culture, government and politics, and economy and
      development. Also offers language translation, currency
      exchange, and time zone services.
 Historic Maps
      Images from 1st edition Ordnance survey maps of the UK,
      which are dated between 1846 and 1899, and employ a
      1:10,560 scale. Resources are navigable via a county name
      gazetteer which presents a listing of place names as they
      exist today.
 Tapestry of Time and Terrain
      Presents two maps illustrating the topography and geology
      of America's lower 48 states with a QuickTime Movie
      illustration merging these two aspects. Geologic eras are
      described using timelines showing rock types dating from
      early Precambrian (2.6 billion years ago) to Holocene,
      while numbered map features offer specific information
