DEALING WITH POST-16 CHANGES
Afternoon seminar on the implications of Post-16 changes for librarians and
teachers organised by the Educational Librarians Group of the Library
Association, 17 October, 1.30 - 5.00 pm, at the Department of Educational
Studies, University of Oxford.
Speakers will include Geoff Hayward, Dept. of Educational Studies, University
of Oxford; Chris Talbot, Sixth Form Director of the Central Foundation Girls
School, Bow, London and Lara Thomson, Learning Resources Manager.
The afternoon will include presentations on the Implications of the changes;
Resource provision; a Case Study featuring one school's response; Open
discussion; and an opportunity to share experience.
Cost £40+ VAT, including coffee and sandwiches at 1.00 pm. Discounts for
part-time, unwaged.
