This is useful information and I agree with what you say about the
rather sudden announcement. I had not taken in that the institutional
book supply business was not part of the deal; of course BMBC are
one of the approved book suppliers under the NHS framework contract
which would offer NHS librarians good discounts.
Could members of Norwhsla/LHINN list please indicate if there is an
issue for them about undelivered items in case anything can be
done about it? I imagine that the institutional side of the
business must be going somewhere (other than down the drain of
course).
