Dear list members,
My office window in Geneva, Switzerland, offers a beautiful view across the
border into France. Perhaps this indirectly led me to a start a PhD dealing
with transboundary cooperation in protected areas, a couple of years ago...
At the moment, I am struggling to formalise a conceptual approach to
boundaries, both from an ecological and political/social perspective.
Judging from the contents of this enjoyable list, I suspect that someone
out there might be able to help me locate information on the latter. I am
particularly interested in finding sources dealing with different
definitions of boundaries. Up until now I have been working within the
tradition of (mainly francophone) political geography, but would be
delighted to hear about other approaches.
Looking forward to some help with new ideas,
Juliet
