The company provides infrastructure software solutions, for wireless and
Internet-enabled companies that need to manage, interact with and distribute
critical corporate and location-based data. Their software solutions enables
wireless operators to optimise network performance, to visualise and manage
corporate assets and to develop and deploy customised location based
applications to a variety of thin-client devices, including WAP and
SMS-enabled mobile phones, PDAs and PCs.
Their software powers the world's first personal location-based mapping
service deployed live to mobile phone users through J-Phone, a leading
mobile operator in Japan. Vodafone, the UK's premier mobile network
operator, also employs our clients` software platform as an integral part of
its cellular network management solution.
The aggressive pan-European growth plans create the following needs:

£120K OTE Year 1, + Stock Options
You will be the driving force in delivering these solutions to the market
and ensuring all European revenue targets are achieved.
Vital to the role will be securing new business opportunities by developing
relationships at the most senior level, managing and directing the
pan-European sales team and establishing strategic alliances with key
industry players.
The strongest candidates will have a senior sales background within the
wireless or Internet arena. Experience in a Systems Integration or IT
solutions environment is also highly desirable. All applicants must have the
ability to focus on short-term goals whilst considering medium term
planning, a decisive commercial style and a visionary approach to
leadership.

This role is essential to the company’s aggressive pan-European growth
plans. A highly strategic role focused on the identification and commercial
development of key channel partners. You must have proven experience of
building relationships and conducting business in a complex, multi-level
sales environment.
Your client base will include mobile network operators, wireless device
manufacturers, spatial content providers ASP's and ISP's. Ideal backgrounds
will include wireless or Internet, Systems Integration or complex IT
solutions. Competency in more than one European language is highly
desirable.
