Checking the IMA catalogue of software, this was one of several programs
written & distributed by Gary Carroll & the late Nick Rock, Uni of Western
Australia. The email contact was : mailto:[log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> , although this reference is 8 years
old.
There was another similar program listed: PX, by J.M. Cebria, Museo Nacional
de Ciencias Naturales, Madrid, Spain, no email, (see Am Min (1990) 75 p.
1426)

Dear all,
Apologies if you do not consider this to be the correct forum to air
this enquiry.
A collegue of mine is trying to obtain a copy of the FORTRAN 77
software
PXTAB. The program automates IMA/CNMMN pyroxene nomenclature,
presumably
from probe analyses. Does anybody have a copy or know of any igneous
petrologists who might?
Many thanks in advance,
Tim
