Hi,
My colleague and I are trying to use the user subroutine applications of ABAQUS
v5.7-7.
We are not having much luck.
I think the problem is in our FORTRAN compiler, it is a GNU version. The
routine I am attempting is a simple UVARM routine which requires to call the
function GETVRM. This function is nowhere to be found on our system - a sun
spark system running Solaris CDE v1.2.
The compiling errors I get in the log file are as follows:
'f77: unrecognised option: `-cg92`'
'f77: unrecognised option: `-Nl99`'
'f77: unrecognised option: `-Nc3000`'
'f771: invalid option `-fast`'
I am not experienced at all in FORTRAN and consequently do not know what these
mean, they seem to me to be errors regarding the actual execution of the
compiler in relation to ABAQUS and consequently I suspect our compiler is
inappropriate.
I have contacted HKS about this, but my university has not purchased user help
so I doubt they will get back to me.
Please can anyone Help, help, help!
Thanks
Lee Easterbrook
