It may help to know that Stephen Schneider is the individual who has done
the most to ensure that the IPCC Working Group II report contains as
comprehensive a description of uncertainty as possible, including the
preparation of a guidance paper on the treatment of uncertainty that was
circulated to the other authors.
So, Steve, I'm afraid you don't win either way on this one. Perhaps it's
sometimes right to 'make simplified dramatic statements' for political
effect, as others have argued on this list. Or, if it's wrong, then you
stand condemned for your simplified dramatic statements about Stephen
Schneider.
