Also, it isn't just birds getting chopped up. You have to build lots of
wing mills. A windmill farm WILL change the surrounding ecosystem. The
question is by how much. If you impose a load constraint then I think
given the current technology it is a toss up.
Notice the name, renewables. It isn't enviro-friendly, enviromentally
neutral, or eco-system safe, it is renewable. All this means is that it
is a source of energy that will not be used up, unlike fossil fuels. The
assumption is that renewable ==> eco-friendly, and this may very well not
be the case at all.

Ditto for geothermal.

How about this, you offer a biased picture.
I don't think you have used those exact words.
Yeah, and so do I. The difference is that I am pretty much up-front with
the fact that I think the market works pretty well in many cases.
