I am in the process of obtaining information on non-wood homes. I want to
gather all the information that is obtainable and compile it for the
consumer of building products. I am also in the process of creating a
business plan for a company that will construct 'wood frugal' homes.
Here is one such type of non-wood construction called "Cellucon" which makes
precast forms for houses and apartment buildings.

in Australia. The are highly fireproof, sound proof, insulate well - you can
hold a 15 mm slab for 15 minutes with a propan torch flame on the other
side.....I think this is part of the solution we can achieve to save the
earths remaining 'frontier forests'

than wood.
