Very interesting John. You intentionally snip away the part of my post
that states that the above scenario is a hypothetical (is this intential
obfuscation or an attempt on your part to drag the discussion into a
stupid argument?). The above scenario was specifically made up to
underscore the fact that acting only on partial knowledge or no knowledge
can be problematic. That while we probably don't want to wait until we
know what is happening with certainty we don't want to necessarily assume
the worse because that maybe precisely the wrong assumption.

John stop being needlessly dense. It should have been obvious from the
links in my orginal post what I was talking about. If you find the name
that offensive then call it the misuse and abuse of science.
