Wow! This is a _great_ thread. The recollections are
riveting. I agree with Amselm that an in-print compilation would be an
excellent outcome.
You guys over there really know how to mix it up. There is nothing I know
of in US/Canada poetry lore to compare with Tom's account of ramming
Prynne's car. (But I'd be glad to hear of any such incidents).
On an allied matter, congratulations to Ric on the Fund for Poetry award.
No doubt his co-editorship of the anthology he and Peter Q did, merited
this. As his book, altho I havent yet seen that. To my mind, his
curatorship of this list alone merits it, because of all it does to keep us
over here up to date with the present and the (e.g., Sparty Lea) past of
British poetry.
