>Sigh. This discussion list seems constantly to be circling back to Prynne.
>An author I greatly respect & admire, but don't people read other stuff?
I shouldn't read too much into it Nate. 'Complexity' - beg your pardon -
needs a focus to render it consumable and Prynn provides such a focus. He is
very good and he has been around for a while so the fact that he is used as
the focus, the conduit for thoughts on things, is not surprising. Not a big
deal. And it couldn't happen to a nicer bloke - mind, I have no idea if he is
'nice' or not. Thought I was about to meet him once but Nick Johnson was just
playing a trick on me.
Was it Doris Day who used to sing 'Prynne in the morning Prynne in the
evening Prynne at supper time be my little Prynne and love me all the time'?
