Dear list members,
I'm doing some research in the field of the acquisition of number words by
children.
In connection with this research I'm interested in texts of children's
songs and rhymes, in which one finds sequences of number words like [10,
20, 30, 40 etc.] or other number sequences in dipping rhymes; or
sequences like [monday, tuesday, wednesday etc.]; or sequences like
[january, february, march etc.] or other sequences of words, more or
less presented as a list or an enumeration in dipping rhymes or
otherwise.
I have already found a lot of Dutch ones; but I would like to know whether
these things are also present in repertoires of other specch
communities.
References to books or articles related to this subject are also very
welcome.
Many thanks in advance.
