Dave and Steve (and anyone else who is affected)
The problem is undoubtedly caused by the sender using Microsoft Outlook
Express and the recipient using a simpler beast such as one of the Unix mail
packages. There is nothing the recipient can do about it, but the sender
can. The golden rule is as follows.
If you send a message to a news group/bulletin board like the ballad list
and you are using Outlook Express, then use Plain Text formatting, not Rich
Text (HTML). On OE version 5.5 it is easily selectable on the Format
pull-down menu.
'Nuff said.
BTW thanks for the info, Steve. Do we take it that you now burning even more
midlight oil putting the contents into you index? ;o)
Well done, that man!
Cheers
Simon
