Without wishing to clog up admin-student with further discussions, can I say
that I think that there is a difference between the loans that SLC deal with
and the payment of fees? The latter is definitely, in my opinion , an
admin-student matter. I personally don't deal with all aspects of this but
I'm sure that a lot of student records people do. Loans are a more
specialised area and I'm sure we should leave that list to deal with that
issue only. So my vote is to leave things as they are. Provided contributors
use the subject title correctly it is a simple matter to delete the email if
you are not interested.

Subject: RE: Student Loans Co discussions - on admin-student mailbase
May I remind colleagues that there is already a mailbase list for discussion
of SLC matters called admin-loans. This is generally very quiete because as
Bruce so rightly points out everyone uses admin-student. It would be more
appropriate if people joined admin-loans and used this mailbase foe all loan
and slc discussions.
