At South Devon Colllege, our Access Fund for HE is quite small.
However, we use the same Appeals System for both FE and HE
Access Funds.
If a student wishes to appeal a decision, they have the right to an
appeal. This must be submitted in writing, within 14 days to
Student Services Manager. Students must state new supporting
evidence.
The Panel consists of : Student Services Manager, Financial
Welfare Officer and Student Association Manager. The Dean of
Faculty is included if the student goes to Step Two ( see attched )
I have attached a copy of our Appeals Procedure, which may be
some use.
