Further to Judith Tyler's comment (below), at Sheffield we have always
been advised that extra weeks' attendance could only be considered by
LEA's if it involved attendance on campus or was related to medics' clinical
placements and that field trips, however essential, did not entitle students
to any extra money. I too would be very interested to pick up on any
guidance the DfEE might be able to provide on this one.
