The next annual meeting of the Society is planned for Thursday, January 11,
2001, during the TRB meeting week, from 9:00 AM till about 11:00 AM. The
meeting will be held in Wilson B/C Rooms at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel

The above technical program is based on abstracts selected. Final program
will be developed after review of submitted papers. About 80 papers will be
presented at the conference and about 20 additional papers will be included
in the proceedings. A paper copy and a CD of the proceedings will be
distributed at the conference.
Proceedings
A total of about 80 papers will be presented. Also, it is expected that
another 20 papers will be selected for publication only. Papers have been
received from seventeen countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil,
Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, South Africa,
Sweden, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, and USA). Both paper copies and a CD will be
distributed to each registrant.
General Information
Registration Fee
$500 - Advanced Conference Registration - by June 1, 2001 (includes
luncheons, receptions, banquet, field tours, proceedings, session attendance
and $50 for Year 2001 ISCP membership)
$600 - Conference Registration after June 1, 2001 (includes luncheons,
receptions, banquet, field tours, proceedings, and session attendance and $50
for Year 2001 ISCP membership)
$250 - Student Registration (includes luncheons, receptions, banquet, field
tours, proceedings, and session attendance and $50 for Year 2001 ISCP
membership)
$100 - Spouse Program (includes reception Sunday, September 9, 2001, gala
dinner Tuesday, September 11, 2001, breakfast and lunches in the exhibit
area, and hospitality suite).
Note: Year 2001 ISCP members (Year 2001 membership fee already paid), a $50
discount will be available.
Conference Hotel
The conference will be held at Disney's Coronado Springs, Disney's largest
convention hotel located in the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort. The
Coronado has 1,967 guestrooms and suites and is handicapped equipped. The
facility boasts recreational facilities, which include a fitness center, sand
volleyball court and five swimming pools. Tennis is offered at nearby
Disney's Wide World of Sports complex and golf is available at five
championship courses.
Hotel reservations for the conference should be made by contact Disney's
Coronado Springs hotel directly - Phone: 407-939-1000. A block of rooms has
been reserved until August 9 of 2001, for the attendees of the 7th
International Conference on Concrete Pavements. When making your
reservations, let the reservation clerk know you are attending this
conference. Reservations need to be made a soon as possible as only a limited
number of rooms have been reserved. You will need to secure your reservation
with a credit card.
Single/Double Occupancy: $123 per night ($98 for US govt.
agency staff)
Additional Person (18 years and older): $15 per person per night.
Your room rates are subject to applicable sales and resort taxes, currently
11%.
Subject to availability, you may reserve rooms at your Group Room Rates for
the three days prior to Saturday, September 8, 2001, and the three days after
Thursday, September 13, 2001.
