Present a Half-Day Seminar:
Money Matters: where it comes from, where it goes and how to get more
09.30 - 12.30 Wednesday 15th November 2000
Boardroom B, London College of Printing, Elephant & Castle, London SE1
The importance of good financing and resourcing is ever more essential to
the modern learning experience. Staff need to be aware of how money comes
into their institutions and how it moves around, along with the financial
limitations and potential available.
This finance event aims to look at the process of funding within an HE/FE
institution and explores external funding sources.
By the end of this event the participants should be able to:
* Describe how funding comes into an HE/FE Institution
* Describe how funding is devolved within Library and Learning Resources
* Outline what is meant by formula based book allocation
* Identify various sources of external funding
* Describe major issues involved in fundraising
Who should attend?
