Incidentally, there's a new issue of the estimable online review journal
_Lagniappe_ up now:
http://www.acsu.buffalo.edu/~foust/B2.html
Though I usually like this journal a lot, I must confess that I'm pretty
disappointed by the review of Raworth by Ramesh Qureshi, which is basically
drivel (& also screws up on one essential point: he confuses the publisher's
convenience of printing _Writing_ in two columns as an actual compositional
choice of Raworth's--i.e. he thinks it's two parallel texts). Qureshi wrote
an especially crass review of Prynne's _Poems_ for _readme_ not so long ago
so why should I be surprised. A similar crassness is visible here: e.g.
Raworth as having a "progressive postmodern political consciousness". -- all
