Hello, I just subscribed to the list. I heard that there had been some
discussion concerning an anthology of poetic gastronomica that I am editing
with poets Nada Gordon, Hoa Nguyen, and Joe Safdie. Please do let us know
(through Joe Safdie, at the email provided in original forward from Henry
Gould) if you would be interested in receiving the guidelines. Each
contributor will be represented by a recipe, a vignette about it, a poem
that pertains in some way to food, and probably a photo (of the poet, of
course).
I see that Robert Kelly and Pierre Joris, two favorite writers of mine, have
rushed to say that we are somewhat late out of the gate with this project.
Well, all I can say is that you can never have enough good recipes or
tattly-tasty tales about being at table with other poets. Nor can you have
enough "experimental" poems about the mystery of eating.
