We also have set documents from the Exam Board that require the same
signatures as yours. We don't have to spend time chasing them as someone
from central admin (representing the Registrar and Secretary) attends the
board and gets signatures on the spot.
After the board depts produce the pass lists (the noticeboard results
sheets), which are signed by the board Chair and the admin rep and are then
published with the caveat that they are subject to confirmation by the
School Board and Senate. These sheets together with the above documents go
to the Chairperson of the School Board and the VC (as Chair of Senate) for
ratification. Awards can then be conferred. The people involved are aware
of the urgency and I've not been aware of any major delays.
