Dear Colleagues
Can anyone please share their practices in monitoring processes in Stock
Accessions Depts to meet standards. e.g. time taken in each section of
the process.
Is it preferable to do this on a small regular 'sample' of books/items
coming in, or can some systems be used to do this for each item?
If the computer system isn't used, could you have a monitoring slip in
each book? and then input this info. onto a spreadsheet?
All suggestions, especially the more practical ones, greatfully
received.
Also, any suggestions please about monitoring/setting targets for staff
who perform many different tasks during the day.
Many thanks
Geraldine McVeigh
