Assemblage, the Sheffield University graduate students'
electronic journal of archaeology, is seeking contributions for
it's ninth issue, to be published in early winter 2005.
In the past the journal has covered a wide variety of topics
including Pre-Medieval Landscapes in Medieval Court
Romance, Fetishism in Archaeology, comments on English
Heritage’s 'Power of Place', Clay Pipes and the Study of
Smoking, Guides to Archaeological Software, Tavernas in
Ancient Greece, Mesolithic Seascapes, and Reflexive
Excavation Methodologies.

We would like to see articles of up to 5000 words which can
include:
methodological and scientific studies;
explorations of theoretical issues;
landscape,site and artefact oriented studies;
surveys and reports;
opinion pieces and critiques;
reviews of paper and electronic publications.
Deadline for abstracts is 1st May 2005.
