The product-service system PSS strategy has a great impact on customers, product life cycle and company strategy. The design of PSS is a complex problem, and must meet the challenges of the changing financial and resource models that align with PSS strategy. A better understanding of knowledge resources is needed in order to meet these challenges. The changes required in digital product life cycle systems that PSS brings need to be investigated.
