JISCMail Delivery Problems - 23/02/12

We experienced problems on one of our servers yesterday. Emails received by this server were rejected with the message “Virus MBL_207346.UNOFFICIAL found in mail – rejected”.

We would like to reassure JISCMail users that this message was generated because of a problem with our own anti-virus definition, and that no further investigation is  necessary at their own site.

The issue with our server was resolved about 15:00 yesterday, and there have been no further incidences of the problem since.
