CHEST

AAF
The Academic Applications Forum, supported by Eduserv, provides a forum for discussion of topics related to applications support in the academic environment. Membership is largely, but not exclusively, drawn from Computer Centre staff in the UK University sector. Eduserv CHEST support the Forum and attend all of the meetings, so this Forum provides a valuable means of making them aware of current issues and requirements.

CHEST-ARC-INFO
Arc/info is a Geographical Information System from Environmental Systems Research Institute,Inc.(ESRI)made available to the HE Community under a CHEST Agreement. The list is a forum for technical discussion on issues related to Arc/Info and should not be used toreport problems as it will not necessarily be read by CHEST.

CHEST-CSA
Currently for ARTBibliographies Modern and DAAI:Design & Applied Arts Index. The list will be used to make announcements about the agreement. It is for discussion only and should not be used for reporting problems to Chest or to CSA.

CHEST-ESC
This list is used by Chest to announce news about the Chest/ESC Agreement.

CHEST-HARPERCOLLINS
The CHEST/HarperCollins Special Offer mailing list for discussion between institutions licensed via CHEST for HarperCollins products.

CHEST-MONOTYPE
Monotype is a Classic Font Library made available to the HE Community under a CHEST Agreement. The list is a forum for technical discussion on issues related to Monotype and should not be used to report problems as it will not necessarily be read by CHEST.

CHEST-NEWS
This list is used by Eduserv to announce new Chest Agreements, to give information on existing agreements, and to distribute the "Messenger" newsletters. The list is moderated and messages sent to the list are kept indefinitely.

CHEST-PROQUEST-HISTORY
Agreement for FE: Online service to support and extend teaching of History catering for GCSE, AS/2 and equivalent qualifications. This list is for discussion only and should not be used for reporting problems to Chest or to ProQuest Information and Learning.

CHEST-SPSS
SPSS is a suite of statistical software, made available to the HE Community under a CHEST Agreement. The list is a forum for technical discussion on issues related to the SPSS products, and should not be used to report problems as it will not necessarily be read by CHEST.

CROSSFIRE
The JISC Collections - MDL CrossFire Agreement gives access to the Beilstein organic chemistry and to the Gmelin inorganic chemistry databases. This list provides a forum for technical discussions and general issues related to the CrossFire service provided by MIMAS.

ENDNOTE
To share knowledge & expertise of EndNote, EndNote Web & Reference Manager among UK FE, HE & Research Council site licences. Also for Adept Scientific & Thomson Reuters to announce new releases, patches, user group events and beta testing of new versions.

JSTOR
JSTOR is a digital archive of the backruns of a growing number of important scholarly journals. This list is for discussion and information purposes,not for reporting problems as it may not be read by JSTOR.

LANDMAP
LANDMAP is a JISC funded project. This list will act as a general discussion list for users of the products that will be produced by LANDMAP. The list will assist in the discussion of products enhancements, suggestions and prioritising of products delivery.

LIVELINK-EDUCATION-GROUP
Collaborative venture involving a number of EDM (Electronic Document Management) users specific to the Livelink product. To share experiences and provide a common strategic platform for development.
