This list aims to provide a means for communication and information dissemination for HE administrators interested in financial matters. It is run by the JANET User Group for Administrators (JUGA).

The subject centre is one of the 24 subject centres of the Higher Education Academy.

CAL-FOR-FINANCIAL-ACCOUNTING
This list is deliberatly narrow in its ambitions, namely to help those teaching financial accounting to make best use of all forms of Computer Assisted Learning. The list originator admits a bias to objective testing, computer-based assessment and Virtual Learning Environments, but it is hoped that the list will take on a life of its own.

CHEST-EMERALD-FE
This list is used by Chest to announce news about the Agreement and by subscribers to discuss relevant topics of interest to users of the databases.

CSE-TPWG
The Trans-Pennine Working Group is an international, democratic membership organisation committed to developing a materialist critique of capitalism, unconstrained by conventional academic divisions between subjects.

FINANCIAL-SERVICES
The list aims to inform those interested in current research and academic developments in financial services. It will benefit those associated with; insurance, banking,building societies and general investment and regulatory matters.

FINDIRECTORS
A mailing list and discussion forum for Finance Directors operating in Further Education institutions delivering Higher Education provision. Key purposes: to discuss funding issues, share best practice, achieve best value, and establish beneficial networks.

IAG-RSCEM
Information advice and guidance is on the cusp of significant change. Managers will have to grapple with new accountabilities and expectations in relation to all age guidance and financial resources will be squeezed. We will have to find new, innovative and more cost efficient ways of doing things.

The plus-announce mailing list is used to inform readers of new issues of the on-line magazine Plus and to alert them to related events. Plus a published bimonthly at http://plus.maths.org/.

SOLENTBUSINESSEXCHANGE
Academics from Business. Management and Accountancy related disciplines are invited to network with peers from FE institutions and Southampton Solent University lecturers to make meaningful contacts for the future. Discussions for the Exchange will revolve around supporting student progression, sharing common practice and ultimately how Solent can help support local college students (e.g.: Specific skills, Tasters, Master classes, Portfolio development). Proposals for follow up include further Exchanges, electronic networking, as well as other CPD opportunities.

SPORT-BUSINESS-MANAGEMENT
