The DWS list is a network of those interested in access and use of domestic water and sanitation facilities by disabled people in low-income countries.

ENERGY-MANAGEMENT
List for those involved in energy/water management and conservation in University amd College buildings to discuss, share and exchange information, experience and ideas.

ENVSAN
A closed list intended for HE academics with input from practitioners and sector professionals to review issues related to environmental health, sanitation, hygiene and promotion.

HYGIENE-BEHAVIOUR
This network is designed to facilitate the sharing of ideas, research results and new developments concerned with hygiene behaviour in relation to the water supply and sanitation sector in developing countries.

IMO
A communication means which encourages academics, professionals and other stakeholders to share knowledge, experiences and ideas on institutional issues in the water and sanitation sector.

MEMBRANENETWORK
The principle objective of the list is to encourage the transfer of ideas, techniques, technologies and scientific insights realting to membrane technology

This list is to be used by MRC Green Officers to pass on tips and promote good environmental practices

OM
A list for the Network on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of Water Supply and Sanitation Systems in Developing Countries. Intended for HE academics with input from practitioners and sector professionals.

RWH
A list to promote information exchange between academics, NGO's, government agencies and others on applied research relating to the subject of roofwater harvesting.

SETNET
The Social Exclusion & Transport Network (SETnet) list is to support policy research into the link between social exclusion & poor public transport. It will be of interest to transport researchers, social policy specialists, urban regeneration experts as well as practioners and policy makers.

SODIS
A discussion list for the Network on Solar Water Disinfection as a water treatment method at the household level. Intended for HE academics with input from practitioners and sector professionals concerned with water supply and sanitation systems in Developing Countries.

SPLASH
This list is a support facility for the SPLASH programme. SPLASH is the name of the European Union Water Initiative European Research Area Network EUWI Era-Net. It aims to improve the effectiveness of European funded research on water for development and to develop the capacity of local organizations to coordinate and communicate their research activities.

STICK
The Scottish Technology and Industry Collections and Knowledge network aims to promote care and enjoyment of these ollections. Through research, stewardship and advocacy, STICK will encourage wider engagement with technological and industrial collections across Scotland.

SUP
A discussion list for the Network on Services for the Urban Poor. Intended for HE academics with input from practitioners and sector professionals concerned with water supply and sanitation systems in Developing Countries.

SWITCH
Increasing global change pressures, escalating costs and other risks inherent to conventional urban water management are causing cities to face ever increasing difficulties in efficiently managing scarcer and less reliable water resources. As well, satisfying water uses/services and waste water disposal without creating environmental, social or economic damage is an ever more difficult challenge.

WATER-AND-SAN-APPLIED-RESEARCH
A list for discussion and information exchange relating to applied research in the water supply and sanitation sector. Intended for those with a research interest in the UK and developing nations, discussion focuses on priorities, funding and a range of multi-sectoral topics in the sector.

WATER-DISTRIB-SYSTEMS
For discussion or information exchange relating to research on water distribution systems (WDS). For those with an interest in the unique features of WDS and the complexities of the modelling for analysis, design and optimized operation (including water quality, quantity, reliability).

WATER-FORUM
A general list for discussing, and sharing information on, a broad range of water resources issues in the social and physical sciences, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and critical perspectives.

WATER-RECYCLING-UK
A list for discussing urban water recycling in the UK. Issues range from risk assessment, technologies, environmental impact, costs, integration with building infrastructure and public perception. One of the aims is to develop guidelines for technology selection.

WATERGROUP
This is a group set up to observe changes to water governance especially in Scotland though also elsewhere in the world.

WATERLAW
The list has been setup to facilitate discussion relating to international and national water law.

WSP-RESEARCH
This list is used by the waste stabilization pond research community to discuss projects, conferences, publications and related activities. The list is coordinated from the University of Leeds.

WSSCC
A list intended for discussion about the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council.

WSSCMANP
A list for discussion of best practices for community management of water supply and sanitation facilities in developing countries. Intended for HE academics and researchers, with input from practitioners, civil society organizations and sector professionals.
