CIG-E-FORUM
The purpose this list is to provide an e-forum for moderated & facilitated discussions on topics of relevance to knowledge organisation, metadata, etc. Discussions are intended to be topic specific within specified time periods, enabling an exchange of experience and perspectives. Discussion will be facilitated by the Committee of the Cataloguing and Indexing Group of CILIP.

COLLECTION-DESCRIPTION
The collection-description mailing list was used to exchange information related to the description of collections of resources. The list supported the work of the UK Collection Description Focus in developing consensus in order to ensure consistency and compatibility of approaches across projects and domains. The list was active from 2001 to 2006. The list is now closed.

CRIM-BCS-USERS
'Crim-Bcs-Users' is a discussion list for those intending to use the British Crime Survey (BCS), Police Recorded Crime data and other criminal justice statistics statistics. It also serves as a forum to support the work of the Criminal Justice Statistics Network, a user group that operates under the auspices of the British Society of Criminology (it is the successor to the previous Crime and Criminal Justice Statistics User Group). The network has also been co-opted to the Royal Statistical Society's Statistics User Forum.
