The AOAlist group was created at the end of 2002 by a group of researchers interested in the actor-oriented approach. This approach has been developed and worked by Norman Long and colleagues in the Agricultural University of Wageningen, in the Netherlands. Originally applied in the field of rural development, an important number of researches has extended its application to many areas of the analysis of processes of social change and development interventions. The list purpose is to facilitate the opinion's interchange among the participants, and the organization of 'virtual seminars' through it.
