BMLA  
The British Medical Laser Association is a scientific society established to promote, for the benefit of the public the application of laser technology in medicine by: - promoting research and development in laser technology in medicine and by the publication of the useful results of such research -promoting collaboration and understanding between clinical and scientific disciplines in the field of laser application -promoting the safe operation of lasers in the treatment of human disease -establishing standards in the medical application of lasers

BSG-IT  
The BSG Information Sub-committee advises the Society's membership on information management and technology as implemented in the NHS. It maintains intelligence on key national and international initiatives of relevance. The Committee addresses the educational and training needs of practising gastroenterologists and nominates representatives to sit on national IT projects such as HRG's and clinical terms and language projects. The Sub-committee reports to the BSG Clinical Services and Standards Committee.

CLRN-NORTHERN-RMG  
Group covering the following regions: - Northumberland, Tyne and Wear - Cumbria and Lancashire - Co Durham and Tees Valley - West Yorkshire - Northern Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Group for those working in research management in joint University and NHS offices in the five regions.

CSLA-HOLDERS  
This list is used by successful recipients of rounds 1 - 5 of the HEFCE "New Blood" Senior Clinical Lecturer scheme to improve communication and allow for sharing information, programmes and services

The kidney diseases and male urogenital disorders specialist collection is for busy health professionals, providing them with high quality information and keeping them up to date with the latest research and developments in these areas. The focus of the specialist collection is on kidney diseases affecting adults and children in the UK, disorders affecting the male urogenital system, and male sexual health. There is also information on renal tract and male urogenital cancers.
