BMLA  
The British Medical Laser Association is a scientific society established to promote, for the benefit of the public the application of laser technology in medicine by: - promoting research and development in laser technology in medicine and by the publication of the useful results of such research -promoting collaboration and understanding between clinical and scientific disciplines in the field of laser application -promoting the safe operation of lasers in the treatment of human disease -establishing standards in the medical application of lasers

It maintains intelligence on key national and international initiatives of relevance. The Committee addresses the educational and training needs of practising gastroenterologists and nominates representatives to sit on national IT projects such as HRG's and clinical terms and language projects. The Sub-committee reports to the BSG Clinical Services and Standards Committee.

CRNEMTEAMLEADS  
The purpose of the list is to provide an online forum for Clinical Research Network: East Midlands Division 1 (Cancer) Team Leads across the region to discuss performance of NIHR portfolio studies.

The focus of the specialist collection is on kidney diseases affecting adults and children in the UK, disorders affecting the male urogenital system, and male sexual health. There is also information on renal tract and male urogenital cancers.

PC-UK  
This forum enables individuals working with pathology collections in the U.K. to discuss and share ideas and knowledge. These will include discussion of issues such as conservation and maintenance of specimens, collections management, use of specimens in education and learning and Human Tissue Act legislation.

THYROID-EYE-GROUP  
This is a group of clinicians who are involved in the care of patients with Thyroid Eye disease. It includes Ophthalmologists, Physicians, Orthoptists and psychologists. The aim of the group is to improve the management and care of these patients through the developments of shared guidelines, MDM, and involvement in research

VSSO  
The Veterinary Society of Surgical Oncology (VSSO) was developed to bring together individuals with various backgrounds but similar goals: to more effectively treat veterinary patients with cancer and to advance the understanding of cancer across species. While much of our focus is placed on the surgical aspects of oncology, we incorporate the principles of other treatment modalities such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and interventional oncology, and focus on utilizing evidence-based medicine in our daily practice.
